I graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1994. I built a successful practice in Aberdeen, and for more than 15 years I provided chiropractic services to my patients, but something was missing.
When treating patients, I would frequently find myself discussing how the things that we put in our bodies’ contributes to our overall heath. Chiro alone is not enough to maintain wellness. I decided that it was time to expand my knowledge, and learn more about Nutrition. I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where I discovered nutrition response testing, while working with a fellow chiropractor’s in his local office. I learned how to test the body and it’s organs for deficiencies.
I look forward to sharing these holistic paths to great health, and wellbeing.
Dr. Wang grew up in ShanXi, China. He is the 2nd generation Chinese Medicine practitioner. He earned Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) San Diego Campus in August 2016 and Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from PCOM New York Campus in April 2015. The whole journey took 10 years but he feels that’s just a beginning. He has experiences in treating issues such as pain, fatigue, digestion, insomnia, etc. Besides that, he has interests in treating chronic diseases such as hyper or hypo tension, diabetics and autoimmune system problems.
He also obtained MS degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech and BS in Computer Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. Now he works full time in New York city IT department as a technical director. He only sees patients during weekends and evenings.
As a Christian, Dr. Wang believes giving is more blessed than receiving. Treating patients using Chinese Medicine modalities and seeing any improvement from his patients made him feel self fulfilled. With his dear wife Ann and two lovely teen boys plus a Bichon Frise pet, he lives in beautiful Monmouth county, NJ.
